SABRS Home Comfort, LLC is looking to hire a Residential HVAC Service Technician to go into our clients’ homes to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair their residential heating and cooling systems, as well as complete assigned preventative maintenance. Our Residential HVAC Service Technician is a full-time position that earns an hourly base salary plus commission which has the earning potential of over $80,000 a year! We are also offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this ideal candidate! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

  • At least 4 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
  • Relevant licenses and certifications
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Hard-working and motivated

Responsibility:

  • Install heating and cooling units
  • Provides preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoots units that are not working and replace parts that are defective.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
  • Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
  • Create/install sheet metal and duct board transitions, as needed, on the job
  • Lead your install team of 1-2 additional technicians to neatly and professionally

Qualifications:

  • EPA certified
  • Minimum 3 years HVAC/R experience.
  • Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
  • Knowledge of basic electricity and control systems.
  • Ability to apply the theory, technique, principles, and processes of the HVAC mechanic’s trade.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, or stand, lift and move heavy objects.
  • No Felonies or Violent misdemeanors
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • 1+ years experience as an Install technician


The Sales Manager will execute sales strategies for the branch and will be a “working sales leader” with the ability to coach their team. The Sales Manager will participate in developing strategies to remain competitive in an ever-changing industry. They will define, implement, and monitor their sales team’s key performance indicators such as revenue, quote closure, and gross profit percentage. The Sales Manager will be expected to anticipate and quickly respond to changes in performance to ensure long-term success.

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Receive phone calls from the current customer base and schedule HVAC Install and service calls.
  • Coordinate with Installation and Service Supervisors to place equipment, parts, and materials purchase orders for Installation and service jobs.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse on materials received and organizing job deliveries.
  • Must keep track of the technician’s schedules as they change throughout the day.
  • Keep track of the technician’s start, departure times, and reassign jobs in case of a technician’s unavailability.
  • Anticipate problems with routes and parts by making quick sound decisions.
  • Maintain the daily dispatch board and extended forecast of the upcoming workload.
  • Evaluate the customer’s situation, coordinate with Install and service supervisors, and match to the appropriate service technician.
  • Schedule pre-installation site surveys with customers.
  • Coordinate Installation Inspections.
  • Pull permits for the installation of new equipment.

Requirements:

  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Strong computer skills excel, word, etc. We an HVAC software program called SAWIN and will train you on this software. Any previous HVAC software use will be very helpful.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate product and service offerings
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Meet all attendance and dependability requirements
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a high paced environment
